Treatment should target at attaining /maintaining the normal calcium plasma level of 2.25 -2.75 mmol (4.5-5.5 mEq) per liter. Cardiac resuscitation: 1.54-3.3mmol. Acute hypocalcemia: 2.2-4.4mmol. Lead poisoning, fluoride poisoning, and Neonatal tetany: 0.07mmol/kg.
