Indications
Contrast media for use in visualization of gastrointestinal tract.
Dose/Application
Aortography: 15-40 mL IV or intra-arterially STAT (Max. 160 mL). Tumors/non-neoplastic conditions: 1.3 mL/kg IV (max. 125 mL). Excretory Urography: 20 mL IV (max. 40 mL). Digital Subtraction Angiography: 20-60 mL IV. Peripheral Arteriography: 20-40 mL. Radiographic Exam of GI Tract Segments: Orally 30-90 mL. Rectal enema: Dilute 240 mL in 1000 mL tap water. Selective Renal Arteriography: 5-10 mL (max.60 mL). Tomography: to dilute 25-77 mL in 1000 mL water and give 240 mL orally 15-30 min before imaging)
