Mode of Action
It is a specific inhibitor of the thrombogenic activity of thrombin where one molecule of hirudin binds to one molecule of thrombin.
Allergy to other hirudins; hypertension, bacterial endocarditis, surgery, recent biopsy, and severe renal disorder.
